Do you have an old front load Nintendo Entertainment System? This is a helpful tutorial about how to recap the NES-001 console, as well as some helpful tips and tricks for the general repair and maintenance of your retro gaming console. Of course this means another retro tear down. Welcome to the SparkYo Channel! Hopefully you learn something with me, SparkYo!
It's time to spend way too much time learning how to change the capacitors in a front loading Nintendo NES 001 as an important preventative measure to defend your video game console from time relentlessly marching to the future. I'll also talk about modifying the security lockout chip 3139A in your nintendo. The 5V linear power supply is restored and tested to see if it is an upgrade.
Did anything I did in this video improve the video output quality or gaming experience in my nintendo entertainment system video game console? Not at all. My game box was already performing at the most optimal factory experience that the 1980s could provide. But it if you have a broken NES, then there is enough information here to fix most common problems. I hope to help you restore your retro game console to working condition. At least if you have a general idea how to fix nostalgic antique electronics, or at least how to solder. I'll add an easy shopping list for the new capacitors into the description soon. You need to order parts that are no taller than 11mm for inside the PSU AV board.

It's so easy to repair a noisy King Bee 2 studio microphone that it
should be illegal. Imma be honest, I was pretty bummed out when my Neat
King Bee II was having problems, but thankfully this quick fix makes it
very easy to buck the hum, and works great.
You may have seen some reviews for the Neat King Bee 2 talk about how it
has a buzzing or noise problem.
If your large condenser microphone is having problems while under
warranty, then call up customer service and ask for a replacement. I'm
not sure what went wrong over at Turtle Beach, but these XLR mics have a
pretty obvious quality control issue that they should have caught
before shipping their product out to Amazon. But if you find yourself
with a broken microphone and no way to get a new one, then hopefully
this will help you resolve the issue.
Fortunately, it looks like they finally figured out the problem at the
factory, and that new microphones should not have the loud buzzing. But
who knows if your sweet music store of choice actually has the new and
improved version. Is it safe to buy a neat king bee 2? Maybe. Probably.
One of these microphones didn't have issues, at least.
You'll want to make sure they fix the issue before deciding if this is
the best microphone for streaming on Twitch or YouTube.
This is the most in depth full and complete review for the neat king
bee, because we look at three of them from the inside.
Does your microphone sound like it has a bad ground loop? Grounding
problem? RF or EMI interference? Give this solution a try.
This is the
best way to fix a microphone.
Does it sound good after I fix it? You
decide!
You will witness with tears in your eyes as SparkYo as he performs a
Triple Teardown of 3 microphones. Each tear down more tear-down y than
the last.
There's no need to buy an extensive copy of "Microphone repair for
dummies". What a luxury, you big spender, you.

The neat King Bee II is a large diaphragm studio condenser microphone
with an XLR connection that requires phantom power. It is a good value
microphone that can be used for Voice Over, Singing, Podcasting, gaming,
streamers, video production, zoom calls... pretty much anything you
want as long as you have an audio interface, a well treated acoustic
space ( vocal both ) with a stand that can handle a giant, unnecessarily
heavy microphone. This gear wouldn't do well on stage. It includes a
shock mount and a pop filter, of sorts. this microphone costs less than
$200. Don't buy an expensive microphone for VO until you have built
enough acoustic treatment and sound panels.
Now it's time to go buy more audio gear that I don't really need,
because I'm bad at making my voice sound good.

What is this bootleg game? No, Really. Where did it come from? Why does it exist? Who thought this was a good idea?
I purchased this extraordinary knockoff Nintento Entertainment System cartridge from your friendly neighborhood counterfeiters at AliExpress. I played a bit in my super clean NES, and I uploaded it to the internet, for all of you to enjoy. In case you haven't noticed, this american famicom game is fake.
The game appears to be a modified version, or "rom hack", of the original Nintendo game The Legend of Zelda (1986). LOI was uploaded as a patch by somebody named Dr Floppy in 2015, who I do not think is a real person. There is so much wrong with this game, I can't fit it into a single video, at least not a video that would be allowed on YouTube. This is a follow up to the last romhack I found called " Super Mario Land DX ". That game is a lot simpler and better, but it had a funnier work of art made for the sticker on the game pak that I bought. Legend of Iowa is a complete overhaul of the original zelda, with new graphics, music, enemies, dungeons, maps, and a second quest. But this game is no master quest. It's a master class... in being the worst.
When I sit with this crazy game plugged into my NES, looking wistfully at my remastered copy of The Legend of Zelda: Link's awakening on gameboy color or BoTW on switch... I know that I am not exactly playing the best zelda ever.
I impulse bought this weird game in a late night shopping spree, because I sincerely thought they were just going to send me the Legend of Zelda. The sellers on the aliexpress.com web store like to photoshop bad art so they don't get in trouble for selling boot leg games.
Fun Fact: The retro classic Legend of Zelda (LoZ to us cool kids) was not developed by Eiji Aonuma (LoZ Ocarina of time, N64), it was made by the team of Shigeru Miyamoto - the original creator of mario.
If you want a longer demo or a full playthrough, 4k test footage, or walkthrough, of this weird homebrew game, then let me know with a comment. If you want to see my other electronics teardowns, check my channel.

I barely got this done in time for May the 4th and Cinco de mayo.

This is a video by me, not by you.
What is this bootleg game? No, Seriously. Where did it come from? Why does it exist? Who thought this bad art was a good idea?
I purchased this extraordinary knockoff gameboy cartridge from your friendly neighborhood counterfeiters at AliExpress. I played a bit in my newly upgraded game boy color, and I uploaded it to the internet, for all of you to enjoy. In case you haven't noticed, this gameboy game is fake.
The game appears to be a modified version, or "rom hack", of the original gameboy game Super Mario Land (1989). The prominent fan made I found games that may be the one in this cartridge is one called "Super Mario Land DX" which was uploaded by a person named toruzz. But that game doesn't look right. There is also another romhack I found called " Super Mario Land Colour " released by Drakon and Spikeman. That one looked a lot closer, but it may not be the exact patched game loaded into the game pak that I bought. Both games have updated the original art, and added color into a game that used to be in black and white.
It's a little like what Nintendo did when they added Color to The Legend of Zelda: Link's awakening and re released the game on Gameboy Color.
I impulse bought this weird game in a late night shopping spree, because I thought the art was a funny placeholder.
Fun Fact: The retro classic Super Mario Land (SML to us cool kids) was not developed by Shigeru Miyamoto (Super Mario Bros, NES), it was made by the team of Gunpei Yokoi - the original inventor of the game boy.
If you want a longer demo or a full playthrough, or walkthrough, of this colorized game boy game, then let me know with a comment. If you want to see my other electronics teardowns, check my channel.

You'll be amazed at how easy it is to upgrade your dumpy old game boy
color to it's final form. The ultimate super modern mega retro handheld
console with a GIANT new screen!
Watch him fix the scratched up screen on this gameboy color by replacing
it with tempered glass. Then he cleans the intermittently broken
buttons to make them work better. This repair video is only the
beginning of a series of retro refurbishments to upgrade and restore
this old dirty gameboy color.
The size of the 3 capacitors in the gameboy color are measured and
recorded.
The game boy color was tested using pokemon blue version (1998).
Welcome to the first Sparkyo video of 2022. My goal for this year is to
earn an average of 1 viewer per hour of work put into editing these
videos. The game is rigged, y'all. You're pretty smart individual for
finding the video description, because most people can't even find it in
the current layout.
